The resident training program is based at the
Fort
Collins (Colorado) Family Medicine Center. The program serves 10,500
patients of which 7200 are under or uninsured. Family Medicine Center
provides them with services from obstetrics and pediatrics to
geriatrics, regardless of ability to pay.
Like the rest of our residency program, the Family
Medicine Center was designed with people in mind. We've separated
administration and patient care areas, and divided patient care into
four intimate modules. The FMC building is located two blocks from
Poudre Valley Hospital.
Family practice residents receive their training at
Poudre Valley Hospital, a 235-bed regional tertiary referral center
serving communities in northern Colorado, southern Wyoming, and western
Nebraska. PVH offers a full array of medical specialties and is a
regional provider for trauma, heart, neurosciences, orthopedics, women
and family care, cancer care, bariatric surgery, and robotic surgery in
several specialties. Other services and technologies provided include
open-heart surgery, neurological laser surgery, specialty microsurgery,
a regional perinatal program, and a regional behavioral health care
center.
If you have a question or want more information about
the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency Program, please contact
